Jane Fonda as Aphrodite

Aphrodite is known as the Greek Goddess of heavenly love, beauty and passion. Born of the foam of the sea, Aphrodite, because of her great beauty, was quickly married off by Zeus to the ugly, dull Hephaestus. Yet Aphrodite’s beauty was so great, she was known to consort with gods and men. She created Pandora, the first human woman, at Zeus’ request, and may be the cause of the Trojan War, when Paris chose her as the most beautiful goddess.
