Deeply moved by the plight of human beings defined as immigrants, (or refugees), this piece became a type of prayer for all dreamers. May is a big month for me. I am partnered in two art shows, in an Artsy auction to benefit the ACLU and am soft launching a platform for my Liberty Loving message at BarethePoke.com (as in "don't poke the bear!") I am also a May baby. I keep seeing this saying "Queens are Born in May" in my newsfeeds and ads on various websites... has me wondering if it's popular culture or targeted google ads. ha.
